April Powers Interior Design offers complete interior design services for residential and hospitality projects.

Founded in 2009, APID offers a comprehensive approach to interiors and specializes in turn-key installations. Designing and overseeing projects from initial concept through to completion principal April Powers and team have designed numerous projects ranging from custom, high-end residences to restaurants, boutique inns, resorts, and wineries in locations stretching from the Napa and Sonoma Valley wine country to Oakland, Woodside, Carmel, Pebble Beach, Santa Monica, Tahoe, Wyoming and Hawaii.

With over 20 years of experience in the industry April has a close relationship with architecture which greatly influences the firm’s work. Prior to founding APID she was the Senior Interior Designer for Backen & Gillam Architects where she oversaw the in-house interiors department and worked closely with the principal architects to develop each interiors project.

As APID is a small boutique firm, April is personally involved in every aspect of projects. She values the collaboration process with her team, clients, architects, builders, and artisans and strives to produce something new and exciting for each client. Her attention to detail is exemplified in each finished project with every space having its own personality based on the individual project and client needs.
